Welcome Alex Chen, PhD, New Lead AI Researcher for Proactive AI! 🎉
I’m delighted to announce that my longtime friend and former PhD student, Dr. Xi (Alex) Chen, will join Proactive AI as our Lead AI Researcher. Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board. I’ve known Alex for over 12 years, starting from his PhD study.
I’m delighted to announce that my longtime friend and former PhD student, Dr. Xi (Alex) Chen, will join Proactive AI as our Lead AI Researcher. Alex brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team, and we’re thrilled to have him on board.
I’ve known Alex for over 12 years, starting from his PhD study. I’ve always been impressed by his creativity, talent, and dedication to research and innovation. Alex was a Senior Principal Scientist at Noah’s Ark Lab Montreal, a Senior Staff Researcher at Samsung AI Center, and an NLP research scientist at Nuance Communications.
His experiences and passions lie in a wide range of AI/ML domains, including LLM agents, reasoning and planning, AI for communications and networking.
Watching him grow from a promising PhD student into a world-leading AI researcher has been incredibly rewarding.
Alex shares our vision for the transformative potential of AI Agents. We believe that these agents will revolutionize the way we work, live, and interact. He’s already made remarkable strides in advancing AI agents with the ability to reason, plan, reflect, and evolve. It’s no surprise that our paths cross again here at Proactive AI Lab, where he’ll bring immense expertise and energy to the team. Together, we’re working toward building AI agents that communicate and function just like real humans.
